OSMOSIS

The  process of net diffusion of water molecules from a dilute solution or pure water to a more concentrated solution when both are seperated by a semipermeable membrane.there is a pressure which has to be exerted on the concentrated solution, seperated from pure water by a semipermeable membrane.Osmotic pressureof a dilute solution is directly propotional to other colligative properties like the fall in freezing point, lowering of vapour pressure, etc. Osmotic pressure inversely propotinal to the MW of the solute.

Humerus Bone

Humerus  is the long bone of the upper limb. It has two heads and a shaft. It has anatomical neck and surgical neck. Shaft is rounded in the upper half and triangular in the lower half. It has three borders and three surfaces. Lower end of the humerus forms condyle which is expanded from side to side and has articular and non articular parts. Articular parts include the capitulum and trochlea.

Classification of Muscles

Human body has more than 600 muscles.  Muscles are classified into three types. Skeletal Muscle, Cardiac Muscle, Smooth Muscle. They may b striated or non-striated and voluntary or involuntary. Skeletal muscles are present in bones and supplied by somatic nerves. Cardiac muscles are present in heart and supplied by autonomic nerve fibers. Smooth muscles are present in visceras and supplied by autonomic nerve fibers.

LEUKOCYTES

                                                              LEUKOCYTES

Leukocytes are colourlessand nucleated formed elements of blood. Compare to RBC's the WBC's are larger in size and lesser in number. They play important role in defense mechanism of body and protect the body from invading organismsby acting like soldiers. They may b granulocytes or agranulocytes.

ERYTHROPOIESIS

ERYTHROPOIESIS
Erythropoiesis is a process of origin, development and maturation of RBC's. It has three sites of development. In fetal life Ist two months they develop in egg yolk and in third month liver is the main organ that produce RBC's and during the last three months to puberty they produce in bone marrow.

PERIODIC TABLE

PERIODIC TABLE
Periodic table is a tabular arrangement of chemical elements. Which organized on the basis of their atomic numbers, electron configurations. It has seven rows and eighteen colums. Rows are called periods and columns are called groups.first period contain only two elements.  Ist group called alkaline metals and 2nd group called alkaline earth metals. It has transition elements which have some properties of metals and some properties of non metals.

STOMACH

Stomach

Stomach is a main digestive organ which digest protien part of the food with the help of enzyme pepsin. Its pH is acidic due to presence of HCL and it kill the germs present in the food. When Hcl touches the inner lining of the stomach then the stomach wall secrete pepsin in its inactive form.

HEPATITIS

Hepatitis
In latin word hepatitis means inflammation. That's why hepatitis is swelling and inflammation of liver. Common causes of hepatitis induced toxic substance, drugs, fatty liver, metabolic disorder and low blood pressure in liver during pregnency. Mainly five types of hepatitis. Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis D, Hepatitis E. It may be acute and chronic. During first six months, it is acute and after this it will be chronic.

BLOOD

Formed elements of Blood
Blood is a connective tissue in fluid form. It is considered as the "FLUID OF LIFE" because it carries oxygen from lungs to all parts of the body and carbon dioxide from all parts of the body to the lungs.Composition of blood contains blood cells, plasma and serum.

OSTEOARTHIRITIS

It is degenrative joint disease and a group of mechanical abnormalities involving degradation of joints. Symptoms may include joint pain, tenderness, stiffness, locking and sometimes an effusions. Treatment generally involves a combination of exercise ,lifestyle modifiction and analgesics.

ULCERATIVE INFLAMMATION

Ulcer is a local defect or excavation on the surface of organ or tissues that is produced by sloughing of inflammed necrotic tissues. It mostly occur in mouth, stomach and intestine
